British Basketball seeking applications for U20 head coaches

British Basketball is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Head Coach for the 2013 Great Britain U20 Men's and Women's teams.
Criteria statement: The successful candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in an elite basketball environment with a proven track record of youth player development with an in-depth understanding and commitment to the GB talent development pathway and systems. The successful candidate will possess the ability to work as a member of a team with other professionals to achieve objectives.
Purpose of the Role: To lead in the technical, tactical, physical and emotional development of players and a coaching and support team of four professionals. In collaboration with the Head of Performance design and implement a high quality training preparation period with the ultimate aim of developing players who are capable of performing at the senior level.
Type of Contract: This is a part-time/flexible offseason position for the June to August period, reporting to the Head of Performance. It is approximately a two-month engagement offering competitive compensation.
Location: A mobile workplace in the UK including training venues with time at domestic and overseas training camps and tournaments.
