England girls ready for FIBA 3x3

This weekend sees the second edition of the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championships, presented by Nike, take place in Madrid, Spain.

England will be represented in the girls competition by Jay-Anne Bravo-Harriott, Cheridene Green, Shequila Joseph and Janice Monakana alongside 23 other teams as they battle for the title.
The girls have been drawn in Pool C alonsige Australia, Canada, Tunisia, Romania and Andorra and they start their campaign with a game against Tunisia on Friday afternoon.
If they finish in the top three in the pool, they will qualify for the knockout stages which start and finish on Sunday.
Running alongside the Girls competition will be a Boys championship, that features 32 teams in four pools of eight and a Mixed competition as well as skills competitions including the Nike Dunk Contest and the Samsung Shootout Contest.
