England Basketball, Streetgames and Foundation 4 Life are teaming up to host a 3 on 3 event at The Regal in London on October 6.

 

The event, part of England Basketball's IM Basketball programme, will see basketball games throughout the day alongside tasters for other sports, supported by cheerleaders and with plenty of other opportunities for people to get involved.

 

As one of the most popular sports within StreetGames portfolio of activities, organisers are reporting plenty of interest in the event and have reported that places are filling up fast.

 

Ian Webb, England Basketball's South London Basketball Development Officer, said: "We are fielding enquiries from boys and girls as well as adults all keen to take part. The Regal is a fantastic environment in which to play and we're looking forward to a great day of basketball. I'd encourage anyone who wants to take part to book a place right away."
