England’s U18 Men move into the second round of the European Championship (Division B) with a perfect 5-0 record after thrashing Scotland
95-39 in the final game of the opening round Monday night.
All twelve of coach Steve Bucknall’s team managed to find the bottom of the net in a game where England dominated from beginning to end, starting with a 28-5 opening quarter.
It was midway through the second period before Scotland even reached double digits in scoring as they finished their first round without a win.
Elliott Sentance, Dwayne Orija, Tamas Okros and Rowell Graham all finished in double figures scoring for England and as a team, the twelve players shot over 51% from the floor, including an impressive 10 of 21 from outside the arc.
The second round starts Wednesday for England when they face Estonia, a team who has one loss so far in the European Championship. England take their opening day win against Israel through to the second round so are currently level with Czech Republic on 1-0 records heading into Wednesday.
