U18 Men defeat Hungary

England U18 Men produced a fourth quarter comeback to defeat Hungary 63-58 and remain unbeaten in the European Championship.
 
Trailing 48-44 at the start of the fourth, England scored seven of the first nine points of the final period to edge ahead. Hungary hit back to lead by two, but back to back baskets by Tyrell Isaacs followed by a three from Dwayne Orija gave England a lead they would not relinquish.
 
England had started the game in rip roaring fashion with an 11-2 opening putting them in command. Hungary ended the first quarter on a 9-2 charge to eat into the gap and had pulled ahead by the mid point of the second period.
 
A 14-0 run late in the first half saw Hungary lead at the break by 11, leaving England with a mountain to climb. The overcame the chalenge sith stifling defence that held Hungary to just 10 points in each of the final two quarters.
 
Luke Nelson top scored for England with 22 points, who now face Scotland in their final group game on Monday.
