The England U18 Men team finished 2-2 at the Future Stars tournament to finish in fourth spot.

 

After an opening day when they defeated Sweden (62-55) and eventual winner Ukraine (84-76), then then lost on consecutive days to Netherlands (53-46) and Denmark (73-59).

 

Coach Steve Bucknall commented: "We were pleased to finish up 2-2 at the Future Stars tournament considering the stage we are in preparation and the excellent competition which it provided us.

 

"Playing four international games helped us to gauge were we are as a team and individuals and will help us to improve in the future!

 

The evaluation period is nearly complete and we can now reduce the squad numbers to 16 vying for a place on the plane for the Euros."
