Pops Mensah-Bonsu's season with Besiktas ended with further glory as the GB star helped his team to their third piece of silverware.

 

Besiktas won Game 6 of the Turkish Basketball League final series over Anadolu Efes 80-76 to clinch a 4-2 series victory and add the playoff title to their Turkish Cup and FIBA EuroChallenge successes.

 

Pops had 10 points, 8 rebounds and 1 block in the clinching game to end the series averaging 11.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks, helping his team to their first playoff title since 1975.

 

 

Mensah-Bonsu was a key part of Besiktas' success throughout the season, being awarded with the EuroChallenge MVP award after a 26 point and 20 rebound performance in the final against French team Elan Chalon.

 

There is no rest of Pops as he now heads straight to the GB Senior Men camp in Houston which starts on June 14.
