U15 BOYS DEVELOPMENT SQUAD UPDATED AFTER CAMP - (27/02/2013)
The U15 Boys National Development Program had a two day camp at Barking Abbey in the February half-term and the squad has been updated following it.
Coach Jesse Sazant commented: "The two days at Barking Abbey were excellent. The hospitality and organisational support they provided were a great help to the smooth running of the camp. We made some real progress throughout the camp with the players clearly taking responsibility to work on the areas we had asked them to since last camp."

U15 BOYS FINISH 4TH IN COPENHAGEN - (24/06/2011)
The U15 Boys Development Squad were in Copenhagen recently for the Copenhagen Invitational tournament and put up a good showing to come 4th.
The squad topped their opening group after wins against Vaerlose (Danish 1996 Born champions) and a side representing the East region of Norway followed by a tight 78-71 loss to Iceland's national team. They were beaten soundly by the Netherlands in the semi-final and were nipped in overtime in the 3rd/4th playoff game by the same Norway East team they had already beaten.
Coach Andreas Kapoulas commented: "The Denmark trip was a great experience for our players and highlighted the areas that we as a group need to work on. The games were a lot more physical than we are used to and that was very evident especially in the semi-final versus Netherlands. The players represented their country with pride and their behaviour was excellent. However, we now need to go back and make technical and tactical improvements in our game so when we get the next opportunity to compete at this level, we are ready for the challenge."

U15 BOYS WIN DENMARK TOURNAMENT - (14/06/2010)
The England Under 15 Boys' development squad returned from the Copenhagen Invitational Tournament with the trophy after an 86-77 victory against Iceland in Sunday's final.
A strong first half paved the way for Andreas Kapoulas' team to lift the trophy as they went into the locker room 46-28 ahead.
Ben Mead led the England scoring, hitting five treys on his way to a 27 point haul, while Terrell Isaacs finished with 16. Kingsley Okoroh had a triple-double with 16 rebounds, 11 points and 11 blocks against last year's tournament champions.
That performance helped Okoroh gain a place in the Under 15 All-Tournament Team, and he was joined in the side by England teammate Dwayne Orija.
Having finished third in last season's competition, England went unbeaten this year winning all five games.
Two wins on the opening day of the competition ensured a place in the final four as they hammered Norway East 76-24 before beating Denmark White 62-39 in the second to wrap up a place in the semi-finals.
Mead led the England scoring against Norway with 13 points, with Okoroh adding 12 and Jack Griffiths 11. Against Denmark White, Terrell Isaacs led the way with 14, while Okoroh hit 13 and Griffiths 10.
The following morning saw England complete a perfect group stage record with a 57-37 victory against Berlin. Isaacs led the England scoring with 17 points, with Mead adding 16. Okoroh had another big defensive game finishing with 12 rebounds and eight blocks to go with four points.
The semi-final saw England face old foes Scotland, with the Scots allowed to field an Under 16 team after a dismal time in the 2009 competition, but it was England who progressed to the title game with a 63-56 victory.
Kapoulas' team were tied at half-time, and fell behind by six in the third period. Some good defensive play saw them take control of the game to win comfortably in the end.
Isaacs again led the England scoring with 18 points, while Mead added 16 and Griffiths seven.
