Club Funding
Acquiring and maintaining funding is often the most challenging aspect of developing your club.
England Basketball recognise that funding on a national, regional and local basis is ever-changing picture and so will try to provide clubs with as clear a picture as possible through our club funding search facility and guide, 'Club Assist' newsletters and workshops and direct Emails to affiliated clubs.
The information provided by England Basketball is not exhaustive, however we hope it will assist all clubs in ensuring financial stability and a bright future.
-
Club funding search facility - In order to keep our clubs up to date on the changing funding opportunities available to them, we are working in partnership with j4b, a specialist organisation that identifies funding opportunities available to community groups.
-
Club funding guide - A document that gives a guide on how to apply as well as details on some of the major grant schemes.
-
'Club Assist' newsletter - Club Assist is an E-newsletter that highlights funding opportunities and good practice examples and is available to all affiliated clubs.
Many funding sources are only available in certain regions. Therefore contacting your Local Authority Sports Development Officer/Department, County Sports Partnership or Council for Voluntary Services may help highlight local funding pots that are available to you.
